Anna Katharina Brinkschulte

Senior Lecturer Interactive Media

Anna Katharina Brinkschulte has been working as a freelance project lead and creative producer in the field of media production for a very long time. She realises her own projects as well as commissioned work and is also active for well-known agencies in implementation and consulting.

Anna Katharina first studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. However, she was more attracted to the creative side of life. After her first internships, she gained professional experience as a junior producer in permanent employment and as a freelancer in various film productions in the fields of film & TV, documentary and advertising. From 2008 to 2013 Anna studied production for film & TV and interactive formats at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

In 2013 Anna Katharina and Sebastian Uhlig founded Brinkschulte & Uhlig GbR. Together they dedicated over four years to the conception and production of interactive projects for clients such as WDR, BMZ, Porsche, Würth, FMX, the Filmakademie and the City of Ludwigsburg.

Their own production, the web application "199 kleine Helden", was launched in early 2017. "199 kleine Helden" was supported by the Medien- & Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg and by the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports of Baden-Württemberg. The project is currently being used in several nationwide pilot projects in the fields of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) and media education. In 2018, the interactive platform also won the Pädagogischer Medienpreis (engl.: Pedagogical Media Award), which honors digital products for children and young people.
