Technical Equipment
Animationsinstitut offers you facilities with state-of-the-art technology. All students have their own workstation (windows, OSX, Linux) with current tools as well as special project-based solutions. Full HD, Digital Cinema and 3D Stereo are standard formats.
Moreover, you have NCam/ Optitrack motion capture systems, 3D printing, comprehensive DSLR equipment and VR systems at your disposal. You also have access to all of Filmakademie's infrastructure.
All digital postproduction systems that are provided for Filmakademie students are maintained by Animationsinstitut. Almost all digital recording formats can be processed at the production systems in a continuous, file-based workflow. The up-to-date workstations process resolutions from HD to 4k, s3d and Digital Cinema formats. All postproduction suites are equipped with calibrated monitors or projectors and professional measurement technology.
