The Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg is one of the most renowned international film schools. The project-orientated curriculum emphasizes learning-by-doing during all of the different stages of film or media production; this makes studying a unique experience. Animationsinstitut, part of Filmakademie, coordinates the Animation and Interactive Media classes, provides digital post-production to all Filmakademie students and is active in Research & Development projects. Every year, the Institute organizes the FMX, Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media - Europe's largest conference of its kind. A Filmakademie Diploma (Dipl.) is accepted and recognized internationally by companies as well as other universities.
