Senior Lecturer Visual Effects

Jan Burda has started his professional career twenty years ago. His imdb credits contains more than 70 movies and TV series. Within these two decades, he has worked in Baden-Württemberg at various VFX Studios such as Pixomondo, Look Effects, Mackevision and Accenture Song. In 2012/2013, he joined ILM in San Francisco (CA). The cinematic gems within Jan Burda´s filmography include GAME OF THRONES, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, STRANGER THINGS 4 and PACIFIC RIM. He has been board member at Deutsche Filmakademie e.V. for four years. Through his engagement, he was part of establishing the German Film Award (LOLA) for visual effects. Besides being the most important film award in Germany, it is also the most highly endowed German cultural award.
