In her everyday life, Linda is constantly accompanied by her shadow. While it initially helps her navigate a patriarchal environment, its interventions become increasingly intrusive. Only when Linda recognizes what her shadow is made of does she regain self-determination, authenticity, and control.

Director

AMELIE KAHLO

Amelie Kahlo is an animation director and concept artist specializing in 2D animation and stop-motion. Her work combines craftsmanship with experimental approaches, exploring narrative, materiality, and visual storytelling.

PRODUCER

SABINA STÖCKLER

Sabina Stöckler is a producer from Baden-Württemberg. After completing a BA in Communication Science, she began her studies at the FABW, specialising in Animation Effects Producing (graduating in 2027). As well as developing her own projects, she is particularly committed to fostering strong team dynamics and effective communication.

Animation Lead

BILAL YIĞIT INAL

Born in Istanbul in 1999, he studied Archaeology and Art History before earning a bachelor's in Theatre and Dramaturgy. His work focuses on stop-motion animation and puppet making. He is currently specializing in Animation Directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

Animation Lead 2D

FATIMA WAJID

Fatima Wajid, born in 1999 in Quetta, Pakistan, studied Visual Communication at the National College of Arts. Her focus is on 2D animation and illustration. She studies Character Animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and is Lead Animator on the ITFS trailer Key and the project Schattenflucht.

Technical Directing, Compositing

KIRA VOGT

Every creative vision presents its own technical challenges, which Kira, as Technical Directress, tackles with passion. She is not afraid to explore hybrid forms of animation or experimental ideas. She loves developing visual styles and creating the final pixels, as well as developing technical solutions that give her teams more creative freedom.

Cinematographer

FRANZISKA KABUTKE

Franziska Kabutke is a cinematographer focused on fiction, documentary, and stop-motion film. Her work explores atmosphere, relationships, and inner states through subtle visual storytelling. She studies cinematography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, with her films shown at international film festivals.
