The running television cannot submerge her mother's sobbing. Toni, nine years old, is doing her homework at the kitchen table - yet, she cannot focus. Her father is spitting out insults towards his wife's so-called hysteria. Finally, the rage reaches a boiling point, and Toni sees herself succumbing to the anger towards her father.
