BLOOD SCIENCE — WORLDBUILDING

Format: World Building Concept Art

In the world of Blood Science, we follow the hero Nimrod, who grows up among a nomadic tribe in the North. Nimrod and his family are abducted by Babylonians and taken to Babylon, a utopian city in the desert that houses humanity's greatest secrets of blood magic within the Tower of Babel. There, Nimrod grows up as a bondservant within a family of priests. Through his eyes, we discover the city of Babylon and the world of Blood Science. These concepts for this fictional world were developed by Nicolas under the mentorship of Kamila Szutenberg.

Concept Artist

NICOLAS SPERLING

After a degree in illustration, Nicolas specialized in concept art and storyboard at the Animationsinstitut. He gained practical experience in a KiKA animation production and in his work as a freelancer, and among other things, also in supporting several student projects at the Animationsinstitut.
