“It’s about trying to say something about life...”

Meet cartoonist, illustrator and filmmaker Steven Appleby! This year he gives the keynote at the joint opening of Filmakademie and Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg.

After graduating in Audiovisual Media, Jiayan Chen applied to study producing at Filmakademie’s Animationsinstitut. Now, she is about to receive her diploma in Animation/Effects Producing. We talked to the young producer about her studies and about what it means to take responsibility for a team.
