A SPARROW'S SONG

Tobias Eckerlin's diploma project, A SPARROW'S SONG, is a 3D animated film based on a true story. It tells the story of an elderly widow who finds new hope during the Second World War through an unexpected connection with an injured sparrow. Together, they spread this newfound confidence and manage to bring comfort to others during these difficult times.

A SPARROW'S SONG already impressed at the 52nd Student Academy Awards, where Tobias and his team won the golden trophy for their film.

THE UNDYING PAIN OF EXISTENCE

In THE UNDYING PAIN OF EXISTENCE, directed and written by Oscar Jacobson, a nude model poses with statuesque calm at an elite art school – until a nasty mosquito bite tests his self-control. Overwhelmed by itching, he finds himself caught in an inner struggle between the relentless pressure to be perfect and his unbridled, animalistic impulses.

THE UNDYING PAIN OF EXISTENCE was also nominated for a Student Academy Award.
