Contact and Directions

By train: Lines S4 and S5 to Marbach or Bietigheim connect Stuttgart main station with Ludwigsburg station. In addition, local DB trains to Heilbronn, Heidelberg or Karlsruhe stop at Ludwigsburg station.

By car, coming from the A81 North (Heilbronn/Frankfurt): Take the Ludwigsburg Nord exit onto B27 towards Stuttgart.Get into right-hand lane at Blühendes Barock. Don’t take the underpass, pass it. Continue straight until you passed the intersection at Kino Scala, then turn right into Akademiehof. The building at the junction Akademiehof/Gewächshausweg is the Filmakademie

 

By car, coming from A81 South (Karlsruhe/Singen): Take the Ludwigsburg Süd exit onto B27 towards Ludwigsburg-Stadtmitte (ca. 3km). At the light, turn left into Stuttgarter Straße and get into the right-handed lane. Pass the underpass on the right side, make a U-turn at the traffic light. Take the first turn right into Akademiehof. The brick building on the left side after about 100m is the Filmakademie.

 

By car, coming from Stuttgart: B27 towards Ludwigsburg Stadtmitte. Don’t take the underpass, pass it on the right. Immediately keep to left-hand lane. Make a U-turn just before the intersection. Continue straight until you passed the intersection at Kino Scala, then turn right into Akademiehof. The building at the junction Akademiehof/Gewächshausweg is the Filmakademie.

 

From the airport: At S-Bahn-station Flughafen/Messe, take line S2 or S3 towards Stuttgart main station. Leave the train and take line S4 towards Marbach or S5 towards Bietigheim; both trains leave from the same platform. The fifth stop after about twenty minutes is Ludwigsburg. It’s a five minute walk to the Filmakademie.
