Nami Strack

Sound Design

Nami Strack is a Sound Designer specialized in animated film also working in games and VR/AR/MR. With references reaching from award winning animated shorts including the youtube sensation Rollin'Wild and adverts in collaboration with Passion Pictures, FlyVisio etc. clients include Motorola, JD.com, O'Neal, KTM and VW.

Having graduated with a BA in Sonic Design & Sound Arts (University of Brighton, UK 2008) and a Diploma in Filmton/Sounddesign (Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg 2013), Nami Strack is also frequently working at WDR Post production using the latest audio technology for creative storytelling through immersive sound with their latest AR Project Kriegskinder in collaboration with LAVAlabs.

Since 2013 Nami is a guest lecturer at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg monitoring the diploma projects at the Institute of Animation with vision on sound and co-hosting the annual Dolby Atmos Workshop in collaboration with Kunstakademie Stuttgart.

Nami Strack is founder/ curator of the FMX Sound Talks (International Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and immersive Media, www.fmx.de) including sound talks of Disney, Skywalker Sound, Game of Thrones and The Void.
